Tobacco use attributes to more than 16,000 deaths each year in Ontario and in Peel we still have a smoking rate of 19% among youth aged 12 years and older.
Tobacco Free Sports and Recreation will help to:
- Prevent youth from starting to use tobacco industry products
- Protect the environment
- Change social norms around tobacco use
- Protect people from second-hand smoke exposure
In an effort to raise public awareness the Region of Peel’s
Youth Action Alliance extinguish has launched the
“We Play Here” colouring contest /survey (PDF 121KB, 2 pages)
For:
Youth in Kindergarten to Grade 5 and their parents/guardians
What:
Submit a coloured page with a survey filled out by a parent/guardian for your chance to win a prize pack.
Where:
Send submissions to the address on the bottom of the colouring page
